I had an excellent stay in this beautifully located hotel by the lake. The room was spacious and had a lovely porch with a hammock, making it a cozy place to relax. Although the hotel is slowly undergoing renovations and the pool area could use some improvement, the restaurant had fantastic views and delicious food. Overall, it was a perfect getaway for some peace and quiet.

I had an overall nice weekend stay at Banana Palms. The location next to Lago de Izabal is stunning, and the restaurant view is absolutely amazing. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, although they do need a bit of updating. The swimming pool area could use improvements, especially in terms of lighting and repairs. Still, it offers great value for family stays with activities like free kayaking.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel by the lake. The spacious rooms offered stunning views and were quite comfortable, though they could use a bit of modernization. Dining was a highlight with great meals and breathtaking views of Lago de Izabal. The surrounding area is a peaceful retreat, perfect for relaxing, but there are limited activities nearby. Overall, it's a great spot to unwind and enjoy nature, although some facilities need improvement.
